Las Vegas Bighorns Brand Vision Book The purpose of this book is to capture the emotion, mood, or feeling of the fictional Las Vegas Bighorns ice hockey team. The key to this type of book is to use visual storytelling as a device to explain what the brand is about in non technical terms. This book should display the brand's concept visually as opposed to elaborating with lengthy paragraphs.

This book captures the essence and emotion of the brand, with heavy use of appropriate imagery. The images chosen convey the story of the brand, without going deep into the details and it explains concepts/ideas in an entertaining way. The Las Vegas Bighorns brand is intense on ice, in the stands, and on television.

This is the cover illustration for the brand book. The Las Vegas Bighorns are a fictional ice hockey team. Investors and stakeholders wanted to bring hockey back to the city of Las Vegas. The goal was to create an entire rebranding package. This image shows one of Nevada's nearly extinct bighorn sheep. The bighorn sheep was used as a metaphor for the new ice hockey team. As Nevada reintroduces the bighorn sheep back into its natural habitat, team owner are now will simultaneously​​​​​​​ resurrect ice hockey in Las Vegas. This is the "Revival" campaign.

This is the first page of the brand vision book and it sets the stage for the entire idea of the Las Vegas Bighorns rebranding campaign. After thorough research, Stakeholders realized just how much demand for the return of ice hockey in Las Vegas was desired by the fans. The imagery on this spread visualizes the importance of creating a genuine connection between the bighorn sheep and its reintroduction, with the Las Vegas Bighorns brand ideal of a sustainable environment.

Here is a two page spread from the brand vision book. The page on the left shows a hockey player skating into the city of Las Vegas behind the city's iconic Las Vegas sign. The page on the right simulates the camera or viewer panning up towards the face of the player. His face displays the intensity of the action that the new brand will become known for. Each word works in conjunction with the images shown. The word "show" is symbolic for the great performances that take place in Las Vegas. While the word "time" signifies the arrival of the new Las Vegas Bighorns hockey team.

This spread illustrates the raw emotion and visceral action of a Las Vegas Bighorns hockey game. Not only is the game itself intense, but the fan experience is packed with energy and non stop hysteria. The Las Vegas Bighorns brand of hockey includes what we call the "7th Man" fan experience. There can only be six players per team at any time, but with our crowd acting as the "7th Man", we create a mis match for opposing teams that becomes almost impossible to overcome.

This spread shows how technological innovation will bring the reality of the game into the homes of those who can't attend. The custom camera "technology" brings the "reality" of the game up close and personal. This new television game experience will address hockey's difficult t.v. viewing issues by using tried and true cameras from the NFL and NASCAR racing, along with custom crafted camera solutions.

Here we see a sample of the game being viewed on television. The use of scan lines in the imagery helps to simulate television viewing. Custom camera technology brings the game up close and personal. This enhances the game, which in turn becomes easier to watch on television, as can be seen by the reactions of the fans showing their excitement.
